CINCINNATI, OH, February 13, 2020– RTS Lines, sister company to the local third-party logistics company Reliable Transportation Solutions (RTS), recently renewed their SmartWay Transport Partnership with U.S. EPA for the third year in a row. The collaboration with EPA reflects RTS Lines’ commitment to continued environmental sustainability.

RTS Lines joined the SmartWay Transport Partnership in 2018 with the environment in mind. Now, the renewal comes just after the company purchased ten 2020 Kenworth T680 tractors complete with state-of-the-art automatic transmissions, auxiliary power units, and adaptive cruise control. According to CEO Lucas Brown, “The latest technology in our new tractors mean that we can operate with reduced idle time and increased fuel mileage. The SmartWay renewal is just another way we’re lessening our environmental impact.” By joining the SmartWay Transport Partnership, RTS Lines demonstrates its strong environmental leadership and corporate responsibility.

Developed jointly in early 2003 by EPA and Charter Partners represented by industry stakeholders, environmental groups, American Trucking Associations, and Business for Social Responsibility, this innovative program celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2014. Partners like RTS Lines rely upon SmartWay tools and approaches to track and reduce emissions and fuel use from goods movement. RTS Lines is honored to be among the Partnership’s over 3,000 partners.

RTS Lines is sister company to Reliable Transportation Solutions, a third-party logistics company with locations in Cincinnati and Georgetown, Ohio. RTS arranges for the transportation of goods in the continental United States, Canada, and Mexico. In 2019, RTS managed over 30,000 shipments for customers around the world. RTS is always looking for quality employees and drivers. If you are interested in becoming a part of their team, email your resume to jobs@relyonrts.com.
