In the logistics industry, we are accustomed to navigating changes in the market due to weather and other conditions. In any situation, we always make safety the top priority for our customers, carriers, and employees. COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is no exception to this. In response to the growing concern regarding the virus, we have already enacted measures to mitigate supply chain disruptions and to ensure that all individuals involved in the load process are taking necessary safety precautions.

As of today, we will be issuing a written health restrictions statement with every load, and all RTS personnel have been informed to communicate with carriers about health and safety provisions that they may encounter at shipping and receiving facilities. We will also continue to enforce preventative actions as requested by our customers.

Furthermore, we are committed to educating our team with the latest information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Finally, we will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our policies accordingly.

Although we are not medical professionals and dispense no official advice pertaining to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we hope that these actions will help prevent further spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We recognize that this is an uncertain time and our aim is not to incite further concern—we will simply strive to be proactive in complying with our customers’ expectations and do everything in our power as a service provider to protect all involved while still facilitating deliveries.
